Plunging into Her Depths, the Womb of the Mother

Plunging into Her Depths, the Womb of the Mother

I felt Her Waters on me today.

My naked body plunged into Her blue depths.

She tossed me gently, soothing every crevice of my skin.

I felt Her touch:

That of a Mother, with a deep power,

a deep wisdom that moved between her volcanic shores.

I was not without Fear.

There was a power to her that is unharnessable, unattainable, unfathomable, inexplicable.

She showed me a portion of this power as her seaweed tangled in my toes and scratched my neck.

She was careful to remind me of her great Strength.

I floated with Her.

With the utmost respect and almost disbelief…

Was I really with Her?

Finally?

Returning to the Womb.

Her land is rough.

Her roads are treacherous.

Her weather is sporadic.

Her volcanoes are smoldering.

Lost in her Forests I despaired as darkness fell;

A deep humility saturated my very human skin,

and seeped into the folds of my mind…

I am so small at her shores and in her crystal blue…

This Mother, this Womb, has felt so much pain and loss.

Yet, she still holds and rocks me like a baby.

Submerged in Her, She bobs me in Her Womb, in Her arms.

Like the Womb, She is warm and dark,

She is strong, layered expansive muscle, yet so sensitive.

She is deeply Feminine,

Divine creative.

As I plunge into her depth, her wisdom, her history, her Being,

I will never fully comprehend her in my human flesh.
